While the eyes of the world are deliberately distracted by the US-Israeli imperialist war on Iran, the ruthless extermination of the Palestinian people continues unabated. The so-called October 11 "ceasefire" is nothing but a cruel Western mirage, a smokescreen allowing the Israeli occupation forces to continue their daily slaughter of innocent Muslims.
In central Khan Younis, an Israeli drone strike cold-bloodedly murdered a Palestinian father and his daughter early Saturday morning. Later the same day, the bloodthirsty occupation forces struck again, murdering another civilian and severely wounding a young girl. Make no mistake: this is a calculated, ongoing genocide fully backed, funded, and armed by the American empire.
Despite the farcical declarations of a truce, the Israeli war machine relentlessly terrorizes Gaza with airstrikes, naval bombardments, and artillery shells. Since this phantom "ceasefire" began, 640 more Palestinian martyrs have ascended, adding to the staggering, heartbreaking toll of over 72,123 lives stolen since October 2023. Over 171,805 of our brothers and sisters have been wounded.
Adding to the ethnic cleansing, Israeli militias are advancing east of Gaza City under the cover of heavy gunfire, actively abducting Palestinian police personnel. Furthermore, the sadistic siege remains absolute. The occupation has slammed the Rafah crossing shut, weaponizing their regional aggression against Iran to collectively punish Gaza’s displaced population. Thousands of desperately ill Palestinians are trapped, denied life-saving medical care, while the US-backed entity deliberately starves the Strip of medicine, water, and shelter.
This barbarism extends across the occupied West Bank. Violent, fanatical Israeli settlers, emboldened and protected by the occupation army, continue their reign of terror against the native population. In Hebron, near the illegal Karmei Tzur settlement—built on stolen Palestinian land—a Palestinian was shot with live ammunition. South of Tubas in Ras al-Ahmar, armed settlers brutally assaulted and injured three more Palestinians.
Heavily armed Israeli death squads also raided Qaffin and Kafr al-Labad, while soldiers assaulted a man near Azmut, Nablus. Since October 2023, Israel has murdered at least 1,094 Palestinians in the West Bank alone.
This is not a conflict; it is an unchecked genocide. The Ummah must not look away while the US and its colonial outpost attempt to erase Palestine from the map.
